Jake Muscato

Jake Muscato (he/him) is a Facilitation Specialist in the Office of Restorative Practices @ Penn. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where he was an active leader in the LGBTQIA+ community. After graduating, Jake served as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year, providing mentorship, education, and advocacy to youth in the Philadelphia Public Schools. He also has experience in child welfare, supporting families and youth navigating foster care and adoption. Most recently, Jake worked at Penn’s LGBT Center, offering mentorship, programming, and 1:1 support to students, staff, and faculty in the queer and trans community. Passionate about equity, inclusion, and community building, Jake is excited be a part of the Restorative Justice team and initiatives on campus. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, hanging out with his wife and cats, dancing, and binging documentaries (recommendations welcome).
