Community Standards & Accountability

Penn Campus

_________

The Center for Community Standards and Accountability is responsible for acting on behalf of the University in matters of student discipline for violations of the Code of Academic Integrity and the Code of Student Conduct. CSA works to resolve these allegations consistent with the goals and mission of the University as an educational and intellectual community.

Alleged violations of the Code of Academic Integrity are handled by the procedures outlined in the Charter of the University of Pennsylvania Student Disciplinary System. Alleged violations of the Code of Student Conduct will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine whether the case is appropriate for the informal process through the Restorative Practices @ Penn program or the standard disciplinary procedures. A variety of factors are considered in this decision.
