Jenn Mirel is a Social Worker and Facilitator working and living in West Philadelphia on Lenapehoking territory. She is the Associate Director for Dialogue and Accountability with RP@P. Since 2014 Jenn has worked in Philadelphia nonprofits as a Counselor supporting survivors of Domestic Violence (DV). In addition to her direct client work, Jenn provides education and training to new clinicians, professionals and community members on supporting survivors of trauma, dominant identities in the workplace and healthy relationships. As a result of her work supporting survivors of violent trauma, Jenn developed a passion and knowledge for alternative forms of healing and community-based support through Restorative (RJ) and Transformative Justice (TJ) practices. She believes in the power of building strong and caring community in order to foster accountability and transform harm.
